This innovative patent-pending yoga mat reclaims used bicycle inner tubes and weaves them together with strong polyester thread to create a high-end mat that instructors and students love!

The Pura Vita Yoga Mat is designed to provide you with unmatched grip and support even under extreme perspiration.  It sticks to the floor and provides the yoga practitioner with wonderful cushioning in conjunction with a reflexology experience.

Our eco-mat and the inner tubes we reuse is made up of Butyl rubber (FDA food grade safe) which you’ll also find in lipsticks, eye and facial make up, skin care and suntan products.

By utilizing eco-friendly production techniques, we prevent toxic materials from being made and minimize the use of virgin materials.  The reclaimed rubber we use (instead of PVC or virgin rubber) allows us to reduce GHG emissions and to help communities by diverting waste that would end up in landfills.

Each Pura Vita sustainable yoga mat is carbon negative and will reduce an estimated 19.5 metric lbs of CO2 from the atmosphere.
